Battling the elements, American Legion members in Elk Grove, Calif., followed through on their mission to honor veterans in their community on Veterans Day. Huddled under tents in the pouring rain, they held their ceremony, reading the names of veterans in their community, and then stepped off for a soggy but patriotic parade through the city.
