With the cancellation of The 2020 American Legion Legacy Run, Legion Riders from across the country improvised with a Pony Express relay run to collect funds raised virtually and in smaller, department-run events and deliver them to National Commander James W. "Bill" Oxford at the National Headquarters in Indianapolis. Hollywood Post 43 Past Commander Jeric "Clipper" Wilhelmsen chronicled the 2,300-mile journey.
